Construction of 12 No. First and Second Floor Apartments with Ground Floor Retail Space.

Situated in the heart of Dunmurry Village, McAleer & Teague performed the role of Principal Contractor for the construction of 12 No. first and second floor apartments, with ground floor retail space (Mace & Wineflair) together with installation of all mechanical and electrical services, drainage, paved areas and associated works.

The blocks are constructed generally of reinforced concrete foundations, reinforced ground floor slab, pre-cast concrete suspended floor units, structural steel frame, facing brick and block work external walling, block work internal walling, concrete tile roof covering on timber pitched roof structures, PVC framed windows, timber doors and frames and timber trimmings.

Bound to the rear of the site by the main Belfast to Dublin railway line, extensive coordination between NIR and our company’s H&S Manager ensured the safe operation of crane activities on this restricted city centre site.
