Lisahoppin House

The project consisted of the extension to and refurbishment of Lisahoppin House, Beragh. An at risk gentleman’s residence, the property had deteriorated due to being left vacant and unattended.

Works included complete re-roofing of the existing 2 storey main house, construction of a new extension, internal refurbishment including upgrading of services, damp proofing and replacement / upgrading of internal finishes.

The integration of steel work ensured the buildings structural integrity and allowed the installation of precast concrete floor slabs at first floor level and precast stairs. The timely completion of bespoke timber conservatories and kitchen were critical to the success of this scheme along with exacting standards of craftsmanship.

Completed under a form of partnering contract. A target price was agreed for the refurbishment. The prompt development of quotes for alternative finishes allowed the compensation events to be valued & programmed accordingly with minimal disturbance.
